Gain exposure, help charities, what's not to like?

Donate

The key to The Photo Project making money for charities is clearly the willingness of photographers to donate their work for use. Before we get into why that is a good thing to do, let's be perfectly clear on the rules.

By donating a photo to The Photo Project you are agreeing to:

  • let your photo appear in a Photo Project photo book with attribution
  • let your photo appear on this site to help promote the sale of the books (images can be watermarked or marked with copyright if desired).

You will not:

  • make any money directly from this
  • give up any of your copyright to your image

You will get:

  • a mini-biog and link on this site
  • our eternal thanks
  • info on how much money the book your photo is in has made
  • an enhanced feeling of well-being

In most cases you will donate photos to one of the projects currently accepting submissions. If there are no open projects suitable for your work than you can donate in advance (or suggest a new project that works for you). You can also let us know that you would be willing to donate images to future projects and we'll keep you informed as new projects are created. So, if the words of Bob Geldof (sort of)... gives us your photographs!

To donate, email photos to submissions@thephotoproject.org with the name of the project as the subject line.

For best printing, please submit full size images.

Note that any photos containing recognisable faces will need a model release form which we will provide.
